The Cawein Gallery is excited to announce mia ide's art show: Boxed Woman. The opening reception is October 16th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The will be a performance by a Japanese Tea Master at 5:30 pm, and an artist talk at 6:00 pm. The show runs from October 16th to November 16th Monday through Saturday 9 am to 5 pm daily.

Happening every Friday between 12 and 4, come to the new student wellbeing space in the Milky Way and make a craft with friends, or come to unwind from classes. 鈥淭ime to Unwind鈥 is your chance to let go of stress and make an art project to help you soft launch into the weekend.
Please join author and scientist, Dr.. Hilary Flower, as she shares the surprising story of the Everglade Snail Kite, a bird once on
the brink of extinction that rebounded by adapting to an invasive species and thriving in human-altered habitats. Flower shares highlights from her fieldwork and research across Florida, introducing the people and places shaping the kite鈥檚 comeback. Blending ecology, behavioral science, personal journey, and conservation insight, her talk offers a hopeful look at how species can
persist and even flourish in a changing world.

Be Sensitive, Be Brave for Suicide Prevention infuses culture and diversity throughout a foundational workshop on suicide prevention. This free workshop teaches Pacific campus community members to act as eyes and ears for suicidal distress and to connect individuals to help.

Come join the SCC and Marika Preble for 鈥淭ime to Unwind鈥 Fridays in the Milky Way at 51黑料! Every Friday from 12鈥4 PM, come by and create projects to help you unwind and relax before the weekend. Each week will have a new project that can help you relax or give you something fun and creative to take with you. Come with friends, or stop by and make some new ones!
