As we experience some of the worst wildfires in Pacific Northwest history, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe. During these difficult times we want you to know that the 51ºÚÁÏ community supports you and your families.

The immense scope of these wildfires is immeasurable and still developing. If you are experiencing physical or mental health needs related to the wildfires, the Office of Student Support is here to help you identify and connect with available campus or community resources.

While this is affecting people around the globe, if your home has been affected by the wildfires and/or if you or your family are currently in need of essential resources, please let us know so that we can work together towards getting your needs met. We care about you and your families and want to collaborate with Pacific’s community to strive to meet your needs.

Below we have listed resources and opportunities for support, and we encourage you to connect with us if we can assist you in any way.

  • For immediate confidential mental health support – we encourage you to  call the SCC’s 24/7 Support and Crisis Line at 503-352-2999.
• Campus Housing
  
  • If you have an emergency housing need related to the wildfires, contact the Office of Student Support at OSS@pacificu.edu, which will coordinate with Campus Living to identify available options.

As this dangerous and dynamic situation develops we encourage you to monitor these resources for updates:

• Oregonians affected by wildfires or poor air quality can now access a statewide hotline for support 24-hours a day, seven days a week by calling 1-833-699-0554.

• for update about how smoke from the wildfires may affect you
