Happening every Friday between 12 and 4, come to the new student wellbeing space in the Milky Way and make a craft with friends, or come to unwind from classes. “Time to Unwind” is your chance to let go of stress and make an art project to help you soft launch into the weekend.

Under the direction of Dr. Abbie Brown, the fall Jazz Nite will feature standards from prominent composers in jazz, including Gordon Goodwin, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Sammy Nestico.

Drop-In Yoga is open to all 51���� students, staff, and faculty. There is no requirement to sign up, or to attend each week. Yoga meets you where you are, and will be here on those days when you are really needing to come to your mat!

We welcome back June 2026 residency emcee Donna Denizé (MFA '25) for the next in our Kwame Dawes Mapmakers Alumni Institute series, joined in conversation with faculty poet Safia Elhillo. Donna's lines of inquiry will engage with what Safia has called the "Poetics of the Third Space." Brought together by the MFA Alumni Council's Pacific Basin committee, the event is free and open to the public, and will be hosted on Zoom November 17 beginning at 5:30pm Pacific Time.
